Raha Bamdadi
Founder

  • Born in the East and raised in the West, Raha Bamdadi has always been fascinated by human potential. Initially, she pursued genetic engineering at the University of Houston, Texas. However, her passion for style, fashion, and travel led her to shift gears and graduate from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California.

After a few years immersed in New York City’s fashion industry and launching her own brand, the demands and stress of modern life prompted Raha to seek balance and self-care. She found her sanctuary in meditation and yoga.

Deeply inspired by her Persian heritage and travels to the East, Raha developed a profound love for Yoga, Ayurveda, Rumi, and all practices that transcend the mundane and reconnect one to the heart. Driven by a desire to share this love and help others find inner peace, Raha became a certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher and now leads workshops and classes around the world.

Raha’s mission as a yogi is to make yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of background, financial status, or flexibility level. She believes yoga is a unifying force, bringing together the intelligence of the mind with the wisdom of the heart to help us live in harmony and find inner peace. By living as our best selves, we contribute to making the world a better place.

Emily Hirschberg
Yoga Teacher

Ashtanga - Vinyasa like no other!

  • Yoga, as it was originally intended, is therapy. Emily has seen this in action, as yoga has healed her again and again throughout her life, which has led her from Los Angeles to South & Southeast Asia, to the UK, to Spain, and now to Germany. For 18 years, Emily been exploring different aspects of asana-based yoga, but always coming back to the core of the practice: Calming the mind through connection to breath & movement. Having spent considerable time in India over the last 2 decades, even completing her Ashtanga & Vinyasa teacher training in southern India, Emily likes to honor yoga’s roots by incorporating plenty of ancient yogic philosophy into her life & teachings.

With additional training in trauma-informed teaching and mental health coaching, her classroom is a very safe space for people of all genders, ages, backgrounds, and ability levels. Whether it’s in a non-traditional ashtanga vinyasa flow, or a precise & traditional ashtanga primary series, for Emily there is no greater joy than breaking down a complex (and sometimes intimidating) yoga practice into something which is joyful, enriching, and accessible to all.

After all: Yoga isn’t about putting your leg behind your head or balancing upside-down. It’s about establishing that sublime mind-soul-body-breath connection. It’s about embarking on a deeply personal journey which takes you closer to yourself, and closer to peace.

    Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow

Nurture your spiritual self while strengthening your physical body with this powerful 75 minute Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow. Ashtanga is a traditional form of movement-based yoga which is practiced in a set series, incorporating yogic breathing and specific asanas to improve your strength, flexibility, and balance. While it might be quite physically-demanding, Ashtanga becomes a beautiful & deeply satisfying moving meditation when practiced regularly. This flow will be a modified version of the Ashtanga Primary Series, incorporating yogic philosophy, some helpful warm-ups, and modifications that you wouldn't find in a classical Ashtanga practice.

Available for all levels, but recommended for individuals with a background in yoga or fitness.

Karen Strehler
Yoga Teacher

Kundalini with Karen!

  • I discovered yoga when I was pregnant with my 6th child. After years of dancing and teaching salsa, I suddenly had a completely new experience with yoga: I loved the feeling that every part of my body was being moved and stretched. I then practiced Hatha Yoga for many years until one day I came across Kundalini Yoga. The connection between body, mind and soul really moved me, so I wanted to find out more about it.

I attended a ten-day Kundalini Yoga retreat in Tenerife and then completed an 18-month training course to become a Kundalini Yoga teacher at 3HO Germany e. V. in Munich. Since then, I have been practicing Kundalini Yoga every day and have experienced how healing and helpful the exercises and meditations are for me and my emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.

I love teaching and noticing the change in mood among my students and in the room after a lesson. I lead the lesson mindfully and clearly. Singing a mantra together at the end of the lesson is always a highlight for me.

    About Kundalini Yoga

    Yoga of Consciousness

Kundalini Yoga is also called the yoga of consciousness. The Kundalini energy, the life energy, lies dormant within you. The exercises awaken the natural energy and power within you so you can manage your everyday life more consciously and alertly. In practice, dynamic exercises alternate withholding exercises, accompanied by conscious breathing. At the end of my class, there is a shared mantra meditation.

Michele

Meditation Mondays with Michele

  • Michele grew up in a three-culture environment in Karlsruhe, Germany. After finishing school, she decided to move to the United States for a few years, but those years turned into 25. She studied on the East Coast and then spent 20 years in San Francisco on the West Coast. During this time, she experienced personal growth and discovered more about the world and herself. She also began practicing meditation, which helped her manage her anxieties in a healthy way. When she returned to Germany, meditation became a key part of her daily routine.

It became a practice that changed her life and she decided that she wanted to touch and benefit the lives of others.

In 2023, she completed a two-year teacher training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Now, she shares her passion for meditation and teaches others how to use mindfulness to cope with stress in today’s fast-paced world.
